Construction Update

This page is intended to keep the community informed of the construction progress on the Ramsay Exchange site and to provide notification of upcoming site servicing that may affect local residents. Please note that this page will be updated on a regular basis and while it is intended to give notification of upcoming work, the developer is not always given advance notification.

September 2008
All servicing tie-in’s have been completed along 24th Avenue and no further work is expected to occur along 24th Avenue at this time.

July and August 2008
Ongoing site work and landscaping at the Dominion Bridge building.

June 3, 2008
Site work to prepare for the landscaping at the east and west ends of the Dominion Bridge building, as well as the 24th Avenue frontage, is underway to create a high quality landscape that will enhance the building and provide an improved pedestrian experience along the avenue frontage.

May 20, 2008
Now that the City crews have completed the water servicing work along 24th Avenue, our construction crews will begin work today to tie into the new water line. This work is expected to last for just the day, but will unfortunately cause noise.

City crews will be back to pave the section of road along 24th Avenue; however, at this time we do not have an anticipated schedule of work.

The renovation of the historic Dominion Bridge building has taken longer than originally anticipated, as is the case with many buildings of this age and history. However, Torode is striving to their portion of the exterior renovation within the next 4-5 weeks while the new tenant also completes their interior improvements in preparation for their

occupancy.

The City of Calgary is conducting water servicing work along 24th Avenue that is anticipated to continue until Thursday, May 15. During this time a section of the road will be closed.

Atco Gas will be on site in June that will likely result in a gas shut off for one day.
